During the early days of lockdown my investigation into the stones of the abbey moves closer to home. Many of the stone garden walls of the town contain abbey stones collected by townspeople during the post reformation ransacking.
I focus on the same elements, the gaps where the plants and lichens take hold but these days my investigation takes a different turn: a detailed, time based study of what separates me from the outside world.
