Tertulia is a conversation about art outside of an art institution and often in someone’s home. A theme is selected and a large and diverse group of people are invited to meet up to discuss this theme, sometimes bringing a piece of work to share, that encapsulates or illustrates a personal perspective.
Different ways of facilitating dialogue are explored as we seek to refine and define our methodology. The knowledge I gain often becomes the starting point or approach for new work in other areas of my practice.
